Well this was an Unexpected Surprise!
As a first “Spot of the Day” post in this series we think this multi colored DMAX is pretty unique and we 100% love it!
Check out the under bonnet (hood) mural!
One of the many things that are relatively unique to the Thai modifying scene is graphics and murals under the hood (or bonnet as our English friends call it).
Great artwork and we think it’s brilliant … in Thailand we learn to have fun with everything … how could you not smile when that hood is opened!

Nice Touches
We only got a brief look round this DMAX but a couple of things that stood out were the radiator and fan shroud, lovely neat welding and the shroud was properly designed to not waste the fans ability to draw air from the rad only. For the temperatures we get all year round here in Thailand an efficient well designed cooling system is a must!
The pearlescent wheels were another nice touch. 18 inch rims with 245 and 275 tires …. filled the arches perfect.
We didn’t get any pics of the interior as it was stripped out and we think it was getting ready for either a re-trim or an audio install … or most likely both! But this will give us an excuse to go back at a later date for an update.
We hope you enjoyed this first post, please check back for more daily spots!
